Fuel for Fa-La-La-La-La

The holidays have descended upon us and with them comes a never-ending to-do list. If you're like me, you're going to need more energy and the best way to get it is through a great caffeinated seasonal beverage. Don't sacrifice being festive for a boring cup of Joe.

Enter: An eggnog latte made with Death Wish Coffee.

Death Wish Coffee is the world's strongest coffee with a full-bodied, bold and smooth brew that will jingle your tastebuds' bells. Not only is it helping me cross off my holiday to-do list, but it makes a great gift for anyone who could use a pick-me-up. Death Wish Coffee Co. uses the highest quality Fair Trade and organic arabica and robusta beans, so your gift is both delicious and ethically sourced.

When I make my coffee at home, I don't want to sacrifice the bold flavor that you get from espresso. Lucky for me (and all of us), Death Wish Coffee has an espresso roast so we can be more wired than all of the lights this season. It's available in both ground coffee and Keurig cups, so however your at-home coffee corner is set up, this is the roast for you.

I don't own a Keurig, but I do own a traditional espresso machine that uses ground coffee, so without further ado, let's reveal how I make my Eggnog Latte. The best part is that this is as simple as 3 ingredients if you want it to be.

Eggnog Latte

  1. Water (for your coffee machine)

  2. Death Wish Coffee Espresso Roast (ground or K-Cup)

  3. Eggnog

I prefer my lattes iced as I live in Florida, but my coffee machine does have a steamer, so I would be able to steam the eggnog for a hot beverage if I wanted to. Simply load your coffee machine with either a Death Wish K-Cup or scoops of ground Death Wish Espresso Roast, brew, add eggnog to the mug, and either add ice or steam your eggnog depending on what you're going for. I also enjoy adding a whipped topping and/or a candy cane along with a cinnamon stick for that extra festive flavor.

Don't worry about the jolly feelings running out after you've developed a preference for Death Wish over all other coffee. It's true that they're available online, but they're also likely available in a store near you.

The store locator will indicate which specific Death Wish Coffee items should be at each retailer. As always, inventory is subject to change. However, isn't it nice to know where you can find that perfect last minute gift you forgot to grab or get more for yourself after you shared more than intended at that holiday brunch you hosted?
